Pizza with sausage and Brussels sprouts
INGREDIENTS
1 lemon
10 oz fresh pork sausages, skin removed
6 oz Brussels sprouts cut into thin slices (about 2 1/2 t / 625 ml)
1 ball of pizza dough (12 oz / 375 g)
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

PREPARATION
1. Grate lemon to obtain 1 tbsp. (5 mL) zest, then squeeze to 2 tsp. to tab (30 ml) of juice. Book. In the large skillet, cook sausage meat over medium-high heat, flaking with a wooden spoon for 5 minutes or until browned. Reduce to medium heat. Add Brussels sprouts, pepper and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until tender but still slightly crisp. Put the mixture in a bowl, add the reserved lemon zest and mix.
2. On a lightly floured work surface, roll the pizza dough into a circle 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter. Place the dough on an oiled pizza pan, then prick it with a fork over its entire surface. Sprinkle with half of the cheese and pepper. Bake on the bottom rack of preheated oven at 500 ° F (260 ° C) for 5 minutes or until cheese has melted. Spread sausage on a crust, sprinkle with remaining cheese and continue cooking for 8 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Serve the pizza drizzled with reserved lemon juice.
